A Tale of Love and Darkness

Set against the backdrop of the end of the British Mandate for Palestine and the early years of the State of Israel, the movie tells the story of young Amos Oz (Amir Tessler) grows up in 1940s Jerusalem and becomes a famous writer under the influences of his mother's stories and poetry readings.
