‘’ Biloxi Blues ‘’ follows a New York City teenager named Eugene Jerome, who decides to join the US Army during the last year of World War ll in 1945. He is assigned to battle at Biloxi, Mississippi where he has to share space with many soldiers and also endure the whims of a mentally unstable drill sergeant.
