Born on the Fourth of July

The film tells the true story of Ron Kovic, a patriotic, All-American small town athlete who shocks his family by enlisting with the Marines to fight in the Vietnam War. Paralyzed in the war, he then becomes an anti-war and pro-human rights political activist after feeling betrayed by the country he fought for.
