Keith Reynolds is a high school music teacher who has got married and has a 18-year-old daughter Lauren. When his family host Sophie, a foreign exchange student who share mutual interest of music with Keith, he soon falls in love with her and they have an affair. But Lauren discovers their secret, which drives them to the edge and they plan to elope together.
