In this comedy drama, Sidney and Dre are long-time best friends, who share the love for a burgeoning new music style called hip-hop. Two decades later, Dre runs a successful record label, and Sidney is a respected music journalist, but they're still good friends. However, when Dre proposes to his girlfriend Reese, a beautiful lawyer, Sidney begins to suspect that her best friend is actually the love of her life.
