Cheri

The film takes place in France just before the WWI with the luxurious life of the courtesans of kings and millionaires. When the aging retired courtesan Lea de Lonval approaches the 19 year old Chéri since, she does not think their relationship would be serious. However, the odd affair lasts for six year, causing both of them conflicts and complicated feelings when they must break up due to an arranged marriage.
