Mitch Bright makes a decision to come back Trapper Falls and wants to change tradition. He must unseat Dan as mayor as well to fulfill his conspiracy. Dan's wife Kristen and daughter Makayla attempt to help Dan with a pro-Christmas campaign titled "Christmas with a Capitol C."
