Cross Of Iron

The movie begins with a squad of German soldiers led by a tough but experienced sergeant fighting on the Russian front in World War II to survive Soviet offensives and peremptory commanders. They are back to base and look for a new commander, a traditional Prussian officer who aims to be an Iron Cross to preserve his family honor.
