Dr. Tess Coleman and her fifteen-year-old daughter, Anna are totally different in taste of clothes, hair, music and men also, therefore, they don't get along. But when they wake up in the other's body and have to live a freaky Friday in this situation, each is forced to adapt to the other's life, thereby gaining a newfound respect for each other's point of view.
