Hang 'Em High

Ex-lawman Jed Cooper now becomes a rancher with a small herd of cattle. Suddenly, a group of men in horseback appear and accuse him of stealing the cattle and killing their owner, and they string him up by the neck and leave him for dead. Luckily, he is rescued by Deputy U.S. Marshal Bliss, and then proved to do nothing wrong and released by Judge Fenton. Fenton prevents Cooper from seeking revenge and offers him to become his deputy marshals and bring the vigilantes to justice.
