Richard C. Clark is an idealistic young teacher who decides that he has had enough of teaching classes of cynical teenagers in the famous Wellington Academy which is managed by his own father, quit his position there to teach at Marion Barry High - an infamous inner city school. Now, his mission is to inspire the D-average students into making good grades and capture the attention from a beautiful co-worker.
