On November 14, 1970 Marshal University’s football team, its coaching staff and many fans are killer when the airplane crashes on the outskirts of their hometown of Huntington, West Virginia. Now a new coach, Jack Lengyel decides to rebuild Marshall Thundering Herd and heal a grieving community in the process.
