Nicholas Angel is a top London cop who has a lot high achievements in his job that makes some his fellow officers plan to promote him to Sergeant, but serve in a sleepy village of Sandford along with a silly new partner Danny Butterman. Nicholas tries to do his best as a keeper of peace in the new environment when he has some doubts about a dangerous scheme coming to the local residents.
