In Franklin County, Virginia 1931, the three Bondurant brothers is running a business and building power of their own. The leader of the three is Forrest who survived the war and is regarded to as an immortal man. When Special Deputy Charles Rakes ask for a share of the business, the brothers refuse to pay. Angered by the act, Rakes and other authorities set to bring down the 3 brothers.
