Mackenna's Gold (Also Known As: El oro de Mackenna ) is an Adventure Romance film directed by J. Lee Thompson and written by Heck Allen (novel) (as Will Henry), Carl Foreman (screenplay). It released on 10 May 1969 (USA). The film stars Gregory Peck, Omar Sharif, Telly Savalas.The gangster Colorado kidnaps Marshal McKenna. He believes that McKenna has seen a map which leads to a rich vein of gold in the mountains and forces him to show him the way.
