Being involved in a car accident that causes his fiancée's death, Max Matheson becomes emotionally disturbed and must come to Dr. Beaumont for psychological treatment. Trying to get over the tragedy and to move on, Max agrees to work as a night-shift security guard at his father's Mayflower Department Store in New Orleans, where he starts to see visions of a young dead woman in the store's mirror.
