An accident in The Umbrella Corporation's genetic research facility called the Hive releases the T-virus which transforms people into bloodthirsty zombies. In response, the facility's artificial intelligence, Red Queen, seals the Hive and kills everyone inside. Alice luckily survives but she loses all of her memory. So she decides to return to the Hive with other survivors to figure out what happened.
