In this action-adventure drama, Joseph Fiennes stars as Clavius, a powerful Roman military tribune, who along with his helpful hand Lucius, is assigned to investigate rumors of a risen Jewish Messiah and locate the missing deceased body of Jesus of Nazareth. As secrets are uncovered during the investigation, his previous beliefs on the matter are forever altered based on what he's now witnessed.
