The Dark Horse

Inspired by the life of a charismatic brilliant but little-known New Zealand hero , this drama stars Cliff Curtis as Genesis 'Gen' Potini, a Maori speed-chess champion. Upon his release from an institution, Gen attempts to look for the courage to lead, despite his own adversities - finding purpose and hope in passing on his gift to the children in his community.
