The Merchant of Venice

Starring Al Pacino, Joseph Fiennes and Lynn Collins, this romantic drama directed by Michael Radford follows Antonio, a successful but cash-poor merchant, approaches Shylock, a wealthy money lender, for a loan to help his young friend Bassanio woo the beautiful Portia. Shylock wraps his grudge in kindness, offering a three-month loan at no interest, but if not repaid, Antonio will owe a pound of flesh.
