Seven years after the events of the first film, Kevin Flynn, CEO of ENCOM International, dissapears. 20 years later, Kenvin's son Sam, who is now ENCOM's primary shareholder, accidentally discovers a large computer in a hidden basement and is teleported to the virtual game world created by his father.
