Waiting to Exhale (Also Known As: 4 Mulheres Apaixonadas) is a Comedy Drama Romance film directed by Forest Whitaker and written by Terry McMillan (novel), Terry McMillan (screenplay). It released on 22 December 1995 (USA). The film stars Whitney Houston, Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine. Based on Terry McMillan's novel, this film follows four very different African-American women and their relationships with the male gender.
