Where the Heart is (2000)

Film is about Novalee Nation, a pregnant 17-year-old girl, from Tennessee, who fled to California with her boyfriend. When they stopped in Oklahoma, her boyfriend abandoned her. Novalee quietly worked at Wal-Mart store. She gave birth a baby, which attracted the attention of the media. She also began a new life with the help of new friends.
