The bad luck of the aspiring tennis-star Peter Colt seems to present everywhere. He falls to the bottom of the world tennis ranks and finds himself lose his passion to this sport despite his best effort to do so. Luckily, he meets American tennis ingénue Lizzie Bradbury and falls in love with her and Lizzie helps him gain back his focus for Winbledon.
