The film centers on the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) who lost the use of his hands to a car accident. As him embarking on a journey of healing, Stephen becomes a powerful sorcerer under the tutelage of a mystic known as the Ancient One.
