Mississippi Burning (Also Known As: Mississippi en llamas ) is a crime drama mystery film directed by Alan Parker and written by Chris Gerolmo. It released on 27 January 1989 (USA). The film stars Gene Hackman, Willem Dafoe, Frances McDormand. Two FBI agents with wildly different styles arrive in Mississippi to investigate the disappearance of some civil rights activists.
