The young female scientist Beth Wakefield works for ScopaMed Pharmaceuticals. She accidentally discovers that her company developed a cure for cancer many years earlier but hasn’t released it yet since the launch may destroy their chemotherapy drug sales. She tries to publish the cure to the world and put herself in danger while the company finds all ways to stop her.
