After his wife is tragically killed in a serious car accident, architect Frank Bannister finds himself develops an abilitiy to communicate with the dead. The abilities allow him to make friends with ghosts, also give him great chance to make money: "exorcising" the ghosts (some of them even sent by Frank) from the haunted houses in the town. However, as a diabolical spirit appears and plot a murderous rampage on both the living and the dead, and to make it worse the whole town believes Frank is behind it, he is forced to investigate and stop the demonic ghost.
