The Ghostbusters nab a ghost family, but due to Slimer's carelessness, they are released and now searching for revenge by stealing jobs of the Ghostbusters. But when they attempts to finish the job, they unleash a force that endangers all of New York City, and the Ghostbusters now have to continue their adventures to remove ghosts around New York in order to keep the city safe.
