Season 1 follows the first-responder paramedics from San Francisco General as they are first on the emergency scene, traveling by land, sea or air to reach their victims in time. The heroic life savers battle extreme conditions to rescue the injured, while dealing with drama and tragedy in their personal lives, including the death of several co-workers a year ago.
