After leaving behind his younger sister Monica and his friend Mark while biking in the woods, Peter discovers an odd tree. Peter is transported inside the tree and falls into a room with a board game and a bizarre boy, Nathaniel asking him to play the Forever Game. Peter accepts but soon realises each move they make impacts to the wood where Monica and Mark are looking for him.
