Season 2 will gives us the answer to the question: will Poldark be able to reconstruct his ruined life and heal his broken heart? The season opens with Ross Poldark and Demelza having just lost their child, Poldark's company teetering on the edge of ruin and Poldark in Truro jail after his involvement in a violent riot.
