Johnny and Moira Rose is a wealthy couple living with their adult son and daughter, whose a perfect life until the day they lose all their money. In consequence, the family has no choice other than rebuilding their lives in their only remaining asset: the small town of Schitt's Creek, Ontario, which they once purchased as a joke.
