Southland - Season 5

John trains a new rookie officer, but he soon leaves the department, which makes John refuses to give training anymore. Lydia struggles to care for her newly born child while simultaneously maintaining a grip on her job. Sammy tries to win the dative of his child over his ex-wife, which leads him to a financial crisis. In the end of the season, John is kidnapped and then has a tough time struggling with the consequence of the abduction. Meanwhile, Lydia develops a relationship with her former partner Russell.
